Host Fitness Competition At Boys & Girls Club
In Orlando Program

ORLANDO - Cable programmer TNT teamed up with Bright House Networks and the Orlando Magic at the Universal chapter of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida to sponsor a unique youth fitness contest that carries out the mission of the national NBA Fit program.
Called TNT Small Stars Fit Challenge, the program is being held at Boys & Girls Clubs in seven NBA cities this winter—Orlando was the first stop on Feb. 10, 2010, at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida Universal chapter. A total of 50 boys and girls ages 10-12 were divided into teams that first competed in physical fitness categories including running and sit-ups, with the top two members of each team chosen for the final competition, a basketball game of H.O.R.S.E.
In addition to the physical fitness competition, the program also included the presentation of a $1,000 donation check from TNT and Bright House Networks to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida Universal chapter. Each of the participating boys and girls received a medal for their efforts, and were also given their team t-shirts as a memento.
