October 31, 2018, WINTER PARK, FL…Giving Tuesday is about to make a current or future Herzing University – Orlando student $2,000 closer to a degree. In celebration with the philanthropic tradition that occurs the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, Herzing will award a $2,000 tuition scholarship to a current or future student who applies by November 21, 2018. The winner will be selected at random. Herzing will donate a non-perishable food item for every student who completes the scholarship application which includes meeting with an admissions counselor. Collected food donations will be given to Christian Help, a non-profit charity.
“We want to recognize that any act of kindness, no matter how grand or modest, goes a long way to making Orlando a better place,” says Campus President Heatherann Antonacci, MBA. “It’s our way of paying tribute to students who share their time, talent, and resources for the greater good.”
Scholarship hopefuls should complete the online application at https://www.herzing.edu/givingtuesday and meet with a Herzing Orlando admissions counselor by the deadline date of November 21, 2018. Eligibility requirements are also found on the application website. The program will be conducted at Herzing’s 11 campuses in eight states.
