“OrlandoColors”Art Exhibit At Banco do Brasil Americas

ORLANDO - The Orlando Times newspaper was invited to a private VIP reception at Banco do Brasil Americas where they promoted paintings of six local artists. The BB Americas Cultural Series presented “Orlando Colors” for the first time here in Orlando at Banco do Brasil Americas. “Orlando Colors” is an art exhibit showcasing six local artists: Arthur Dawson- African American, Patrick Noze – Haiti, Patricia Isabella Byron- English-Canadian and Italian-Honduran, Dennis Esteves- Brazil, Raquel Vannucci- Brazil, Sarro- Brazil. Their paintings embody the diversity of The City Beautiful. The art is distinctive because it symbolizes a variety of cultures and illustrating life in Brazil, Haiti and the United States.

The exhibit is free and open to the public. The art will be displayed in this bank from October 20th through December 9th. It is a fascinating experience for bank patrons to come into Banco do Brasil Americas and complete their banking transactions in such a bright and vibrant environment where colorful art is on the walls of the bank. Folks that are interested in purchasing the art can contact the artist.
Banco do Brasil Americas opened in February 2015 and has many branch locations throughout Florida. The bank is located on I-Drive in Orlando. The bank has an extensive history in promoting artist starting back 25 years ago at Banco do Brasil Cultural Centers in Brazil. Commissioner Samuel B. Ings and his lovely wife June Ings were there to celebrate the unveiling of this art extravaganza. Samuel B. Ings stated “This bank is in the heart of District 6 and the art represents diversity in our community.” Pamela Kohl, Executive Vice President of Banco do Brasil Americas said she is “Proud to present the 1st cultural series in supporting the arts here in Orlando”. There were many business professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders that attended this art preview.
