R L Burns, Inc., General Contractors And Construction Managers Celebrates Its 25th Anniversary
ORLANDO - R L Burns, Inc., is pleased to announce the company is celebrating its 25th anniversary on Thursday, April 18, 2019. Founded by President Bob Burns, the company has become one of the most successful minority- and veteran-owned construction firms in Florida. Today, R L Burns serves clients throughout the state including local municipalities, government authorities, military facilities, and private clients.
“When I founded R L Burns, I did so with the belief that we could do things a better way,” said Burns. “We have created a culture filled with dedicated team members focused on delivering quality projects and giving back to our community, two things that are extremely important to me.”
In addition to its anniversary celebration, the firm will recognize its team members, partners, and clients throughout the year with a social media campaign themed “25 Projects in 25 Years.”
“Relationships are the cornerstone of our success. I can’t say that enough,” said Burns. “During the year, I want to publicly thank and acknowledge our clients, partners, each member of my team, plus those in the community who believe in supporting small business through mentoring and other opportunities.”

A special area of focus has been Orlando’s historic Parramore neighborhood. “Our team is committed to partnering with the City of Orlando and others to provide our Parramore neighbors with affordable housing options and access to the kinds of facilities that are the heart of a healthy, thriving community,” said Burns.
Parramore-based projects to date include single family homes, George Barker Park, Wells’ Built Museum of African American History and Culture, and the construction of Guardian Care Skilled Nursing Facility, an eight-bed skilled nursing center.
