Not all of them are breast cancer survivors. Former Senator Geraldine Thompson, Pastor Pam Powell and Son Jae are breast cancer survivors. Ovachi Bennett and Mrs. Diann Williams are community activists by association. You'll get that on the way home. Lol! During their testimonies they spoke about how you first have to deal with your personal life and then on top of that the doctor tells you that you have cancer. Now you're at a loss of words. You start thinking about what the world is saying about you. Also you have to deal with friends and family members. You try to keep it moving but in your mind you're thinking, "How did I end up here?" I must say that they are fighters. A lot of people deal with cancer every day in many different ways. This was first of many events like this that Drop D No Limits Foundation will continue to produce about breast cancer awareness in the future. I'd like to thank the City Of Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer, Commissioner Samuel B. Ings of District 6, Commissioner Regina I. Hill of District 5, Police Chief John Mina, Fire Chief Roderick Williams, Downtown Development Walter Hawkins, Walmart, OneBlood, Goodwill, Simply and Center for Change. Special thank you goes to former Senator Geraldine Thompson, Pastor Pam Powell, Son Jae, Ovachi Bennett and Mrs. Diann Williams for standing with Drop D No Limits Foundation in recognizing breast cancer awareness month.
