ORLANDO - The Central Florida Black Nurses Association (CFBNA) of Orlando nurses appreciated Mrs. Eloise Abrahams, President of CFBNAand Administrator of Guardian Care Nursing and Rehabilitation Center-Orlando, andher staffat Guardian Care. Under the leadership of Mrs. Abrahams, staff safely and successfully moved patients and processes from a 60+-year old facility to a newly constructed state-of-the-art building during the COVID-19 pandemic. These notable accomplishments did not go unnoticed by the CFBNA of Orlando nurses.They surprised the staff at Guardian Care with baskets of healthy snacks, fruit, and a thank you card placed on a beautifully decorated table with flowers, as well as conveyed words of appreciation and affirmationto the team.Seeing staff smiling and enjoying the treats was rewarding.
This appreciation celebration left a positive impact on many. One of the nurses indicated that she wanted to become a member of the CFBNA of Orlando.PresidentAbrahams and her team expressed gratitude for being remembered and acknowledged during these challenging and noteworthy events. President Abrahams added her sincere appreciation by saying, “Thank you again for the generosity shown toward the staff of Guardian Care!” President Abrahams is recognized for her leadership in the CFBNA of Orlando.
